Los Angeles: Samuel L. Jackson is asking celebrities who participated in 2014’s viral “ALS Ice Bucket Challenge” to take a stand against police violence, the UPI reported.
“All you celebrities out there who poured ice water on your head, here's a chance to do something else,” Jackson says in a video posted to Facebook on Saturday.
“I challenge all of you to sing the ‘We Ain’t Gonna Stop Till People are Free’ song.”
The song, written by Luke Nephew of Bronx-based collective Peace Poets, has gained traction among people protesting the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown.
