Farah Khan to take over from Salman as Bigg Boss 8 host?

Mumbai: Salman Khan fans hold your hearts. If reports are to be believed you won't be able to catch a glimpse of your favourite star on the stormy reality show 'Bigg Boss 8' after January 4. While the actual show is not wrapping up, Salman Khan will no longer host the reality series.
While the news may come as a shock to many of us, but leading newspaper, DNA has revealed that the show which was going to wrap up on January 4, has apparently been extended for one more month.
As per Salman's contract, he had given dates for the show till January 4. Now, the actor, who is ruling the roost in the industry, is quite occupied with his undertakings and is unable to give dates for the show which has been extended. According to a report in a leading daily, Salman Khan will be shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan and does not have free dates in his schedule.
Thus, the channel heads were left with no choice but to rope in a new host, the top choices for which were Karan Johar and Anil Kapoor. Apparently, both KJo and Anil Kapoor turned down the offer, following which Farah was zeroed in.
Salman Khan has been hosting 'Bigg Boss 8', the Indian version of the international reality television franchise 'Big Brother' for three consecutive years. Salman's presence on the show has made it a big hit among the audience, who watch the show for their admiration for the actor and his witty comments.
The 'Dabangg' actor also made headlines for his heated arguments with the contestants on the show, very recently for rebuking Karishma Tanna. Earlier hosts for the show include Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty, Amitabh Bachchan, and Sanjay Dut.
