Peshawar school attack: The men who massacred 132 school children on December 16
But the barbarity of the act barely invokes any guilt
Peshawar: These are the men who brought Pakistan to a still on December 16 with the ghastly attacks on the Army Public School in Peshawar killing more than 140 people, majority of them being students.
But the barbarity of the act barely invokes any guilt, or compassion on similar lines. Pakistani Taliban spokesman Mohammed Khurasani claimed that the attack was justified because the Pakistani Army has allegedly long been killing children and families of their fighters.
But who is responsible?
According to the Daily Beast, Maulana Fazlullah who also attacked Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, planned the siege on the Army school at Peshawar. Fazlullah reportedly took charge after the US successfully killed predecessor Hakeemullah Mehsud, the leader of al-Qaeda linked Movement of the Taliban Pakistan.

Reacting to the Peshawar attack on innocent children, Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif lifted the moratorium on death penalty for terrorist. This will reportedly affect around 1000 terrorists who are currently in jail and will be executed shortly, in the next few days.
Organisations worldwide including Islamic outfits like Afghanistan Taliban, JuD leader and 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed have condemned the attack.
