Ranbir Kapoor won’t promote Roy movie

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor has decided to not go on a promotional spree for Roy. The actor has informed producer Bhushan Kumar that he doesn’t want to mislead the audience by giving them the impression that the film revolves around him.

“Since its a cameo role, Ranbir doesn’t feel the need to publicise the film. It’s Arjun Rampal’s film, so Ranbir prefers that Arjun take charge of the promotions. Ranbir has fulfilled his commitment,” says a source close to RK.

The much delayed film is now a matter of concern for its makers. But after the debacle of Besharam, Ranbir can’t afford another flop under his name. Probably that’s the reason he has restricted his involvement with the film to a bare minimum.
