Police holds meet for school heads

The schools say that this has left them unprepared and even endangered the students prospects.

Hyderabad: In view of the Peshawar terror attack and as per the advisory by the Ministry of Home affairs, the Hyderabad police on Friday conducted an awareness meeting for all school principals of the central zone.

The meeting headed by Central zone DCP Kamalasan Reddy stressed the precautionary measures to be taken by school managements. A mock bomb was also exploded by disposal teams during the meeting to show how it appears.

The school managements were requested to take up basic security measures like installing CCTV cameras, appointing security personnel, installing door frame and hand held metal detectors etc.

“The session was very useful,” said St. Paul’s school principal Sudhakar Reddy. Kamala Nehru college principal Chandrakala said they have already started implementing security measures like installing CCTV cameras, appointing security personnel etc.
