THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said that in the matter of governance one has to take practical decisions.

He was reacting to KPCC president V M Sudheeran’s strident opposition to the changes effected in Government’s phased liquor policy.

“While in government you have to focus on the practical side of issues. You cannot always take decisions that suit everyone,” the chief minister said.

“Personally even I don’t fully agree with the present decision. We  need to give importance to practicality," he said and claimed that the government would implement prohibition in a phased manner.
