Watch: Demo of Cortana on Microsoft Lumia Windows Phone

“Hey Cortana”, is what you will be soon hearing from a lot of Windows Phone users around the world. Yes, Lumia Denim is said to be rolling out and a lot of Windows Phone Lumia smartphones will sport Cortana, the Microsoft Windows variant of Cortana, where one can control the smartphone by simply talking to it, without touching it.

Lumia Denim, the next update for Lumia-based Windows Smartphones will feature better security, live folders, Cortana and a few other updates. Cortana, which is a voice-based personal assistant, similar to that found on Android and iOS devices, will be the highlight of the new update. Cortana needs to be initially setup in a quiet environment before using it ahead.

Lumia Denim has already rolled out in China and India and Europe are next to receiving the big update. Microsoft is said to skip Lumia Cyan and update straight to Lumia Denim.
