Boddu Bhaskara Rama Rao rejoins Telugu Desam Party

Kakinada: Boddu Bhaskara Rama Rao, MLC for local bodies of East Godavari district, rejoined the TD on Monday in the presence of Chief Minister  N. Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad. Mr Rama Rao worked in the TD for 30 years and held several posts, including a Cabinet rank. With  his return to the fold, the number of  YSR Congress MLCs will be reduced to one. Mr  Rama Rao had resigned from the  TD in March, 2013, for the cause of united Andhra Pradesh cause and joined the YSR Congress. After  the elections, he maintained a distance from the YSRC and made efforts to rejoin the TD . “I will rejoin the TD, which is  home to me, on Tuesday before the TD general body meeting,” Mr Rama Rao said.
