Mumbai: 'Badlapur' actor Varun Dhawan is now gearing up for his next release. Varun has always played roles of the boy next door, but now he seems to have drifted away from his persona with his upcoming movie. Varun looks grown up and ready to take on the villains in this one. The trailer has already garnered lot of success and we are now looking forward to the movie. Recently Varun also revealed that he draws inspiration from none other than Salman Khan. In a recent statement to a leading daily, Varun said, “Salman Khan‘s character Radhe in ‘Tere Naam’ was an inspiration. As far as my look in Badlapur is concerned, my elder brother Rohit was a reference point. I thought to myself that when I age, I may end up looking like him. So the bearded look actually came from Rohit.”
Well, we are not sure if the actor will follow the footsteps of Mr. Khan or not, but he has surely piqued our interest with his new look in ‘Badlapur’.
