Ghar wapsi is not conversion, says Praveen Togadia

Hyderabad: VHP national general secretary Praveen Togadia has demanded “a strong legislation” to stop conversions, but defended the ghar wapsi programme.

“We are against conversions. If someone is accepting another way of life, it is not a conversion…the Supreme Court noted that Hinduism is a way of life. We are ready to embrace those who are ready to adopt this way of life,” said the VHP leader.
