Jakarta: AirAsia once boasted in an in-flight article that “Your Captain is well prepared to ensure your plane will never get lost,” the torontosun said.

The boast came six weeks after Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared over the Indian Ocean on March 8 carrying 239 people, the AirAsia said.

However, after MH370 disappeared, AirAsia apologised for the poor timing of the article and immediately pulled its magazine.

“I sincerely apologise for any offence caused by the Pilot’s Perspective article in the issue of Travel 3Sixty magazine,” AirAsia executive chairman Datuk Meranun said.
