New Delhi: Former BJP leader Jaswant Singh was discharged from the Army Research and Referral hospital in a “minimally conscious state” and will continue with “supportive care” at home, four months after he was admitted there with severe head injuries.

Sources in defence ministry said he was breathing without assistance and that his heartbeat and BP were normal.

The 76-year-old was admitted on August 8 in a critical condition after he was found lying unconscious on the floor in his house. He had been on life support system all this while, according to news agency reports.
