In the city, cops, for instance, have directed all New Year parties to be held between 8 pm and 1 am on December 31. They have also directed revelers to refrain from driving under the influence of alcohol. To that end, over 50 police teams would conduct checks across the city.
Ch. Suresh Kumar, who along with his friends, have decided to welcome the New Year in Lambasingi, said that since Lambasingi is off the police radar, they have chosen it as their party venue for New Year’s eve.
