Aamir Khan takes over daddy duties

Mumbai: Aamir Khan is getting ready to baby-sit his son Azad next month, as wife Kiran heads for the Berlin Film Festival, leaving the little one with his dad. A few years ago, the couple had attended the 61st Berlin Film Festival together, where Aamir was part of a seven-member jury. This year however, only Kiran will be attending.    

Talking about playing full-time dad the actor said, “I love doing daddy duties. In fact, that is why I prod Kiran to go for these trips. The next two weeks that she’s away, Azad is with me.” Aamir is also treating this as a break before taking on Nitesh Tiwari’s Dangal. “Azad only takes notice of me when Kiran’s not around. Otherwise he has no value for me,” he adds in mock distress.
