The hardcore terrorists will be ‘hit hard’

Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday said that the hardcore terrorists will be ‘hit hard’.
The premier said that the entire nation and political leadership is united in the fight against terrorism. Chairing a follow up meeting on the implementation of National Action Plan on countering terrorism and extremism here, Prime Minister Sharif said indiscriminate action would be taken against terrorists and their sympathisers.
Nawaz Sharif said implementation of the action plan is the top priority of the government, adding that by taking effective measures at the right time we will achieve success. He added, “We will make sure the sacrifices of our law enforcement agencies and the blood spilled in Peshawar do not go waste.”
Nawaz Sharif vowed that Pakistan will not only fight terrorism but will also prevent it. He said, “We will take the war to the hideouts of terrorists.” Mr Sharif said that the government will support the armed forces and law enforcement agencies and that a fight against terrorists will be fought holistically through diplomacy, intelligence, law enforcement and military might.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, Corps Commanders conference was held at General Headquarters (GHQ). General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) chaired the meeting.
