Chiranjeevi to approach Shankar

Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi’s 150th film was to start in 2014 but it didn’t. According to a source, Chiru plans to approach director Shankar for the film.

Recently, Shankar who was in town to promote his film I announced that he would definitely direct a Telugu film.

He was, in fact, supposed to do a Telugu film for producer N.V. Prasad, who said that he had even given an advance to Shankar a few years back.

N.V. Prasad is a good friend of Chiranjeevi and may talk to Shankar for Chiranjeevi’s 150th film.

Chiranjeevi too had expressed a desire to work with Shankar a few years ago at a music launch function, where Shankar was also present.

While Shankar will be free once his film I hits the screens during the coming Sankranti festival, the one negative point of working with Shankar is that he takes his own time to complete a film.
