Mishti is here to stay
The actress admits that she has many offers from down South
Her T’town debut film Chinnadana Nee Kosam is still going strong at the box office and actress Mishti is thrilled. “I didn’t expect such an overwhelming response.
The day I went for screening at Shanti theatre in the city, I saw the crowd enjoy the film. I’m thankful to the audience here for accepting me.”
The actress admits that she has many offers from down South. “The Telugu industry is big and I have been getting a lot of offers, however, I’m yet to take a call.”
And she doesn’t want to lose out on Bollywood offers either. “I would like to focus on both industries. For actors, it is all about the work... I look for a good story and good remuneration.
I guess both of these factors play an important role for any actor when they decide on a movie. I would want to come back and work here, for the kind of love and respect you get down South.”
Mishti brought in 2015 with her family and dog, Shadow. “I had a quiet start. I just went for dinner with my parents,” she says adding, “I am not a party person.”
