CM K Chandrasekhar Rao targets Opposition turf in Telangana State
KCR is now focussing on strengthening the party in every 119 Assembly constituency

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is now focussing on strengthening the party in every 119 Assembly constituency, particularly the ones represented by Opposition.
Party sources said that Mr Rao targeted Nalgona, Khammam and Ranga Reddy. And, the party got a shot-in-the-arm with the entry of Congress Nalgonda zilla parishad chairman Balu Naik. Immediately, he was made the in-charge of the Deverakonda (ST) Assembly constituency.
“TRS is now the most sought-after party. We are strengthening the party in every Assembly constituency,” a minister said. In Mahbubnagar district, out of 14 Assembly constituencies, the TD has two MLAs, Congress five and the rest is of the TRS.
Mr Rao gave Cabinet berths to Juppally Krishna Rao and Laxma Reddy besides parliamentary secretary post to Srinivas Goud to strengthen the party base there.
