On the first look, Onda’s V919 3G Air will look like a complete rip-off of Apple’s iPad Air, but it isn’t. It actually is an Android/Windows dual-boot tablet with a complete Apple iPad Air design.
A Chinese knock-off, Onda’s V919 3G Air tablet is a dual-boot Android tablet that can also run Windows 8.1 operating system when you need it.
Priced at $160 (just below Rs 10,000), the Onda V919 is a 3G tablet, which shares the entire look of an Apple iPad Air. Slim and sleek, the tablet can dual-boot into Android or Windows as and when you need to switch into another OS.
The Onda V919 3G Air is a beast if you take a look at the internal hardware. Built using an MTK MT8392 chipset, the tablet runs on an 8-core processor along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It boasts if a massive 9.7-inch Retina display with a 2K IPS panel sporting a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. A 5800 mAh battery powers the beast and two cameras, a 5MP and a 2MP sensor on the rear and front completes the rest. Connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G, along with USB OTG and USB 3.0. The all-metal chassis Onda V919 3G Air weighs 428g and is 7.9mm thin.
