Twitter may introduce new online ‘Video Player’ soon

Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube are continuously introducing several features that are similar to each other. Recent media reports state that Twitter is reportedly working on its new in-built video player.

The upcoming Twitter Video Player will have YoutTube-like features. Digital Trends reported that Twitter users will be allowed to upload video MP4 or MOV format video clips, up to a length of 10 minutes.

Tech Crunch further reported that Twitter may not offer the option of editing videos within the player. Additionally, you will also be allowed to customize the video thumbnail as well.

Media reports also state that the Twitter Video Player may not support videos hosted on YouTube.
