Telangana State public service team set to suggest revisions

The committee has members drawn from different universities of the state

The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) formed an expansive 26- member committee to suggest revisions and changes in the existing syllabus and examination system.

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) formed an expansive 26- member committee to suggest revisions and changes in the existing syllabus and examination system.

The committee would be headed by retired University of Hyderabad Professor G. Haragopal. The committee has members drawn from different universities of the state and regulatory bodies.

TSPSC chairman Prof G. Chakrapani had categorically said a notification for jobs would be issued only after an expansive review of the existing system is made. He had also said that changes would be made in the current syllabus, in line with the TRS government stance, of incorporating aspects relating to the Telangana statehood struggle. The expert committee includes eminent academicians like Telugu University vice chancellor Prof E. Siva Reddy, Chukka Ramaiah, former NAAC director V.S. Prasad, Dr Nishant Dongari from IIT Hyderabad, Dr Nandini Sidha Reddy among others.
