New Delhi: Filing a murder case against “unknown persons” the Delhi Police on Tuesday claimed that Sunanda was either orally poisoned or it was injected. Incidentally, three days after Sunanda was found dead in a five-star hotel suite Deccan Chronicle was the first to report that she had allegedly died of “poisoning”.

A few months ago, AIIMS forensic head, Dr Sudhir Gupta, had gone on record saying that he had come under tremendous pressure to “manipulate the post-mortem report”, which indicated that the death was “unnatural.”
