Fisheries get Hudhud cyclone relief
The amount will be disbursed to the Aadhaar linked accounts

Visakhapatnam: The Revenue (Disaster Management) Department issued a Budget Release Order of Rs 58,06,82,000 as compensation for the damages suffered due to cyclone Hudhud by the Animal Husbandry and Fisheries department. The department issued a Government Order stating the sanction of more than Rs 58.06 crore on Saturday from the State Disaster Response Fund. The value of compensation stands at more than Rs 41 crore for Animal Husbandry department and Rs 17.06 crore for the Fisheries department.
The break up for compensation in Animal Husbandry stands at Rs 27.07 crore for livestock losses, Rs 11.40 crore for damages occurred in poultry sheds and veterinary institutions, Rs 2.02 crore for feed and fodder losses and Rs 50 lakh for medicines and vaccines.
In the Fisheries department Vizag got Rs 14.07 crore sanctioned,Vizianagaram Rs 1.29 crore and Srikakulam Rs 1.69 crore. The damage compensation in Vizag is for 2,208 damaged boats and 1,008 damaged fishing nets. In Vizanagaram the figures stand at 832 and 1114 respectively and in Srikakulam it is 827 damaged boats and 2,349 nets.
The compensation amount will be disbursed directly to the Aadhaar linked bank accounts of beneficiaries
