Patna: In a major setback to JD(U), the Patna high court on Tuesday dismissed the expulsion orders of four JD(U) MLAs and reinstated their membership.

The Bihar assembly speaker Uday Narayan Choudhary in his order dated November 1 had expelled the four MLAs and accused them of indulging in anti party activities.

All the facilities provided to them were also withdrawn by the speaker.

This has come at a time when JD (U) is planning a merger with RJD and it fears that these reinstated MLAs may create trouble in upcoming polls.
