Venkatesh actually started the trend of multi-starrers in Tollywood, and all he wants now is to do a multi-starrer with all the top actors.

“I want to work in a film where I co-star with Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu and others. This is my dream film and I hope this dream will come true,” said Venky, adding that he wanted to be a part of an Avengers kind of a film.

Now, after his success with Drushyam,  Venkatesh is coming up with yet another experimental film Gopala Gopala with  Pawan Kalyan.

This multi-starrer is a remake of the Hindi film Oh My God. “I play a middle class family man, who has lost his property and wants to sue God,” said Venkatesh about his character.

“We made a few changes and extended Pawan Kalyan’s role. We have also added more scenes between me and Shriya.

“We worked hard on this film,” Venky says. He added that, when the script was ready, they thought that Pawan Kalyan was perfect for the character of God.

“I was supposed to work with Pawan Kalyan 10 years ago. We always wanted to do a film if the right script came up.

For the role of God, our first choice was Pawan Kalyan and when my brother Suresh approached him, he immediately accepted it.”

Hindi actor Mithun Chakravorty is also playing an important role in the film. “He is an outstanding actor and he played the same role he had done in the Hindi version,” said the actor.

About various controversies surrounding the film, the actor says that, the team handled them very delicately. “This kind of story should be told in an entertaining manner.

If you tell it like you are  preaching, the audience will get bored. So we took it differently,  at the same time we didn’t spoil the idea,” he said.

The film exposes fake godmen. “We all know about these people. Media also publishes stories about them all the time. We wanted to create some awareness among the people, so we touched on the theme of fake godmen,” said Venkatesh.

He added, “But there are genuine people too, who give wonderful messages and enlighten people with their preaching.”

The actor is taking a break once the film is released. “I haven’t heard to any script nor have I signed any film, as I want to take a long break.

I may not be available for the Celebrity Cricket League. I am going to Australia this time for the World Cup, for some personal work and  a holiday,” he revealed.
