Paris terror shooting: Terrorists spared journalist as she was a woman

Paris: The brutal massacre in the office of satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris on Wednesday left 12 people dead, including the entire editorial team of the magazine. However, the terrorists spared one journalist in the office on that fateful day. Reporter Sigolene Vinson was spared for being a woman.

Ms Vinson told a French radio station that one of the terrorists reportedly told her, that she wasn’t being killed by them because she was a woman and they don’t kill women in general. However, the lady has to convert to Islam, read the Quran, and wear a veil.

Ms Vinson also said that the terrorists were shouting ‘Allahu Akbar.. Allahu Akbar’ (God is great) when they carried out the dastardly attack.

The editorial team was in a meeting when the attack took place.

The youngest of the attackers, had surrendered to the Police on Thursday. However, the police are still on the look-out for the two other terrorists, who were reportedly on their way to Northern France after robbing a fuel station.
