Hyderabad: The claims of the Paigah family members that Cyrus Investments, represented by its GPA holder P.S. Prasad, Goldstone Infratech and Trinity Infratech, have taken their properties, is unsustainable, and defamatory, said Jandhyala Ravishankar, advocate representing Dr Prasad.

Responding to the allegations made in a press conference against them on Thursday by Hameedunnisa Begum, one of the heirs of the Khurshid-Jahi-Paigah estate, the representative of Goldstone Infratech said, “The allegations are not only defamatory, but also contemptuous.”

He added, “The litigation on all these properties commenced in the year 1956. Hameedunnisa Begum and the state government know about the facts of each and every case. In fact, the government had participated in the litigation at each and every stage up to the SC and had failed in all its attempts and had given up its claim over the suit properties.”

“Allegations of Hameedunnisa Begum that the registration of sale deed was done by her in favour of the Nizam, when she was nine years old, was an utter lie as she had failed to prove these contentions in court,” said Mr Ravishankar.
