Tirupati: Naravaripalle, an otherwise sleepy village, situated around 25 kms from Tirupati is gearing up for a busy week ahead with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who hails from this village all set to celebrate the ensuing Sankranti festival along with his family members back here.

Close relatives of the Chief Minister and local TD leaders have already immersed themselves in making the best of arrangements for the CM's family during their visit slated next week.

According to Mr Ravi Naidu, a relative and TD youth leader, Chief Minsiter N. Chandrababu Nai-du couple, his son Nara Lokesh and wife Nara Brahmani, actor-turned-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna couple are to arrive at the village on January 12 and take part in the Sankranti celebrations.

In view of the visits of the high-profile family, a new look with a fresh coat of paint has been given to the ancestral house of  Chandrababu Naidu.
Welcome hoardings by TD leaders and locals of Naravaripalle have been set up en route to the village right from Tirupati ahead of the visit of the Chief Minister.

It may be recalled that Mr Chandrababu Naidu celebrated last Sankranti along with his family members at his native village in the capacity as the leader of the opposition party.
And this time around as Mr Naidu is all set to celebrate the festival at his native in the capacity as the Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, Tirupati SP Mr Gopinath Jatti paid a visit to Naravaripalle on Friday to review the security arrangements to be in place for the visit of the CM.  Speaking to mediapersons on the lines of the inspection, the Tirupati SP said that though the dates of the CM's visit hasn't been official yet, fool-proof security arrangements would be in place at the village in view of the family of the CM to celebrate the Sankranti festival here.
