Telangana staff accused the Kamalnathan Committee of favouring Seemandhra staff by according them ‘nativity' of TS based on fake certificates.

Hyderabad: The distribution of state-cadre staff between Telangana and AP is stuck over the ‘nativity issue’.

TS staff accused the Kamalnathan Committee of favouring Seemandhra staff by according them ‘nativity’ of TS based on fake certificates.

TS staff demanded the committee to keep the nativity of every employee in public domain on a website to enable logding of objections and complaints if any and questioned the committee for maintaining ‘secrecy’ about this issue.

They asked the committee to adopt transparent methods in the distribution process. The committee has completed the distribution of posts in 65 departments so far. “The nativity entered in registers is being taken into consideration. The details in these registers were altered in undivided state by some AP staff who want to work in Hyderabad and surrounding districts even after bifurcation. We demand disclosure of nativity certificates submitted by the staff and keep them in public domain so that objections and complaints can be lodged in case of any discrepancies. There is nothing wrong in this demand. We want only genuine employees to get advantage,” said Mr G. Devi Prasad, chairman of Telangana Employees JAC.

The JAC has decided to take up agitation programmes if the committee fails to adopt transparent measures in the distribution process.
