MLA to quit if house not built: Chandrasekhar Rao
Rao promised own houses and also announced employment help all the slum dwellers
Warangal: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that if the remodelling and construction of houses in a slum was not finished in five months, the MLA of the area will resign. “I promise that remodelling and construction of new houses in this slum will be over in five months. If that does not happen, the MLA will resign.” Mr Rao amid applause from the people at a slum called Garib Nagar in Parkal mandal of East Warangal.
KCR has already extended his surprise visit by two days to take stock of the situation of the slum areas. On Saturday evening, the Chief Minister visited Garib Nagar and SR Nagar where like the other slums he visited earlier, he promised own houses to all the slum dwellers and also announced employment help to the poor families in the slum.
