Sushant Singh Rajput receives a pile of books from Rajkumar Hirani
The actor who paved his way into directors' heart didn't charge a penny for 'pk'
Mumbai: He is touted as the next big star on the block. Sushant Singh Rajput shot to fame after the success of 'Shuddh Desi Romance' and his last venture 'pk'. Apparently, Sushant who barely had a 15-minute role in Rajkumar Hirani's film, didn't charge a penny for it. Sushant who refused any singing amount had the director handing him Rs. 21 as a sign of good luck.
The only reason Sushant made an appearance was because he was ardent fan of Rajkumar. The actor holds him in high regard and had went on to say that, he would have featured even if it was just walking from one side of the frame to the other. In a sweet gesture, Rajkumar handed him a pile of books on cinematography and acting from his personal collection. In the picture, the actor happily looks through his newly acquired pile of books.
Sushant is gearing up for his film titled ‘M.S Dhoni’ directed by Neeraj Pandey, and is expected to hit the screens this year. We must say the resemblance in uncanny, and Sushant can definitely pass off as a younger Dhoni any day.
On personal front, Sushant recently popped the question to his long time girlfriend Ankita Lokhande in Dubai on New Year’s Eve, and is expected to tie the knot this year.
