Battle for power: Kiran bedi to be face of BJP in Delhi
In a bid to improve its chances, BJP also inducted former AAP leader Shazia Ilmi
New Delhi: Not willing to take chances with the so-called “Modi wave” in the forthcoming elections in Delhi, the BJP’s spin doctors have moved in to project new party member Kiran Bedi as its face.
It is now more or less certain that Ms Bedi will be the BJP’s Chief Minister candidate, taking on Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal. BJP cadres have already started putting up posters of Ms Bedi across the national capital.
I have been fond of Kiran Bedi ji. I always tried to convince her that she shud join politics. I am happy she did it today.

In a bid to improve its chances, the BJP also inducted former AAP leader Shazia Ilmi, and there is also the strong possibility of bringing in Jaya Prada.
The latter, however, wants the BJP to induct expelled SP leader Amar Singh along with her, but an influential bloc within the BJP is vehemently opposed to that.
Unlike Jharkhand and Haryana, where the image and charisma of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was enough to woo the electorate, the BJP is finding it tough going against the AAP in Delhi.
In the last Delhi Assembly polls in December 2013, the BJP’s move to bank on the “Modi wave” failed, with the AAP winning 28 Assembly seats.
Lets Give India our next 3 years, WILLING hard work, innovation, commitment, integrity, next 2 years onwards,~it will start Making us. Pl TRY!.
