AP CM Chandrababu Naidu to launch smart village project
Naidu said that his aim was to make AP as one of the top three states in India by 2022
Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch the smart village and smart ward programme on Sunday. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, while speaking to media on Saturday at the Secretariat, said that the government is launching this programme across the state on the occasion of late Chief Minister NTR’s death anniversary on Sunday. Mr Naidu will participate in the programme at Kruttivennu village in West Godavari district and he will undertake a padayatra for about 18 kilometres.
Mr Naidu said that his aim was to make AP as one of the top three states in India by 2022 and by 2029 the number one state in the country and by 2050 best state in the world. He said keeping this in a view that the government is preparing Vision 2050 instead of vision 2029. He said that every one in the state should involve in the smart Village and smart ward program.
Chandrababu Naidu said the main concept of this program is to make the society without poverty, without financial disparities, healthy and happiness. He said that there are 12,918 villages and 3465 wards and asked the people industrialists and other personalities to participate in the program to make success. He said that the government has identifies 20 indicators to develop the village as smart village and there will be no compromise in achieving these 20 indicators. He said that the government has launched special website to register the names those who want to participate in this program.
