Telangana Governor Narasimhan reviews security in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Telangana Governor E. S. L. Narasimhan on Saturday visited Hyderabad police commissionerate. During a three-hour visit, the Governor met the commissioner of police Mahender Reddy and reviewed the latest technology that the city police has introduced .

The Central government had earlier given a directive granting the Governor special powers to maintain law and order in Hyderabad under section 8 of the provision of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. However, the move was strongly opposed by the TS MPs. The Governor also reviewed all the CCTV cameras installed across the city.
