Sohail’s dinner to raise funds for ailing kids
Actors from Tollywood are expected at the event that will take place in the city
Organisers of the ongoing Celebrity Cricket League will be paying for heart surgeries for 100 ailing children. To raise funds for this initiative, Sohail Khan, owner of Mumbai Heroes, will be hosting a big dinner on January 30 in Hyderabad.
“All CCL players will attend the dinner. Apart from them, some of the top celebrities from all the film industries will also attend the charity dinner,” says Vishnu Induri, CEO of CCL. He adds that if they can raise more funds, the number of children will be increased.
Captain of Telugu Warriors, Venkatesh, and vice-captain, Akhil, will attend the do along with other actors. The organisers are also trying to rope in Sohail’s brother Salman Khan to grace the event.
However “his dates are not available and he will attend the Ahmedabad matches on January 25”, says Vishnu, adding that that they are not giving up hope.
