Hyderabad: Opposing AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s move to tour Telangana along with his son, Mahender Reddy, a former TD leader said that party would not “keep quiet”

“He is trying to deny water and power to our state. He is trying to scare off investors. He is anti-Telangana. Let Ramana, Erraballi advice Naidu to focus on AP and not advise him to tour Telangana,” he remarked.

“I read in newspapers that Naidu has planned to tour Telangana. Before commencing his tour, he should say why he is denying rightful share of power to Telangana? Why is he trying to destroy Telangana farms and leaving farmers in agony?” asked IT and panchayat raj minister K.T. Rama Rao.

Mr Rama Rao said that unless the AP Chief Minister came clean on the issue he would be questioned by farmers if he toured Telangana.

In fact, Mr Chandrasekhar Rao too had said recently that if Mr Naidu continued to poke his nose in TS affairs, he would hold a meeting in Vijayawada.

TRS MLC Karne Prabhakar, MLAs Ms Rasamayi Balakishan and Mr Guvvala Balraju called Mr Lokesh an “Amul Baby”. “Lokesh claims he is Hyderabadi? Doesn’t he know Hyderabad is part of Telangana? He drinks Heritage milk but speaks like an Amul Baby,” Mr Prabhakar said.

“The TD is in disarray in Telangana. Every obstacle created by Naidu against Telangana like Eamcet. FAST, power, water sharing among others is having a counter affect on the party here.

People feel Naidu is anti-Telangana. Naidu is trying to save the party and check defections,” remarked a senior TD leader.

YSRC leader Sharmila is also undertaking a Paramarsa yatra from Nalgonda on January 21 to console 30 families who had lost kin due to shock over the death of YSR.
