With Supreme Court bail, Gali Janardhan Reddy soon to be out of jail
Bail order in this case will enable him to come out as he had obtained bail in other cases
New Delhi/Hyderabad: In a major relief to Gali Janardhan Reddy, the Supreme Court on Tuesday granted bail to the mining baron and former Karnataka minister accused in the illegal mining case involving his Obulapuram Mining Company.
He has been in jail since March 2011. The bail order in this case will enable him to come out as he had obtained bail in other cases as well. A three-judge bench of Chief Justice H.L. Dattu and Justices A.K. Sikri and Arun Mishra granted bail after hearing senior counsel Dushyant Dave for Mr Reddy and Additional Solicitor General Maninder Singh for the CBI.
The ASG submitted that the investigation in the case involving Mr Reddy was complete and both the chargesheet as well as the supplementary cha-rgesheet had been filed.
