London: A man in Mexico calmly walked into a hospital with scissors lodged into his skull, asking for help as he had a ‘small problem’, according to the mirror.co.uk.

Jonas Acevedo Monroy, 32, politely asked for help after he had been attacked in a bar in Chihuahua, Mexico.

The hospital staff was so amazed by his good manners they nicknamed him 'The Gentleman'.

Monroy was set upon by a jealous rival, while he was drinking at a local bar.

The victim's friend Nandor Altamirano Carvajal, 30, said: "Jonas was as always, full of high spirits and was being charming with everyone in the bar when one of the locals took umbrage."

"He came over and started trying to wind Jonas up, but when that didn't work he started getting abusive and aggressive."

"Jonas offered to buy the man a drink, but the guy pulled out a pair of scissors from his jacket and stabbed him in the head. What he was doing with a pair of scissors in his pocket I don't know. It was really shocking," Carvajal said.

Police have arrested a man in connection with the incident.
