ISI agent arrested near Chandipur in Odisha

The suspect was tracked for eight months before being arrested

Balasore (Odisha): A suspected ISI agent was  arrested from a prohibited area in the Integrated Test Range (ITR), premier defence establishment at Chandipur, about 15 km from here.

"Iswar Chandra Behera (35) engaged in ITR as temporary video and still photographer has been arrested and will be produced in court," DIG (Eastern Range) Asit Kumar Panigrahi.

"The suspected person who has been arrested today was tracked for last eight months and was caught with evidence that he was keeping secret contact with an ISI agent in Kolkata," he said.

"A hard disk, two mobile phones with some bank documents have been seized from him," said another senior police officer.

"The accused was regularly visiting Kolkata and had contact with the agent in the name of repairing camera," he said.
