Nara Lokesh meets ministers to discuss ‘Smart’ plans
Lokesh adopted Nimmakuru village belonging to his grandfather late N.T. Rama Rao
Hyderabad: Telugu Desam leader Nara Lokesh held a meeting with ministers, MPs and MLAs on Saturday at the party headquarters, NTR Trust Bhavan, and discussed smart villages.
Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, MP Galla Jayadev, MLA B.K. Rama Rao and others attended the meeting where they constituted a working group on the smart village with Mr Lokesh, Mr Jayadev, B.K. Rama Rao and others.
Mr Lokesh adopted Nimmakuru village belonging to his grandfather late former CM N.T. Rama Rao. He discussed plans to develop Nimmakuru village.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Mr Srinivasa Rao said that Mr Lokesh has prepared a plan to develop Nimmakuru village and added that to implement the plan it will need about Rs 70 crore.
He added that Smart Andhra Pradesh means not only spending crores, it means concentrating on state development. He also added Mr Lokesh is gathering opinions from ground level workers on state development as a member of the working group; he is not interfering in the functioning of the government.
