New Delhi: Cricket Association of Bihar Secretary Aditya Verma on Thursday requested BJP heavyweight Arun Jaitley to not meet BCCI president-in-exile N Srinivasan.

Barred by the Supreme Court from contesting the BCCI polls, slated within six weeks, Srinivasan is likely to discuss his future course of action with Jaitley once the embattled cricket administrator is back from the two-day ICC Board Meeting in Dubai.

"It is my humble request to you to not give any appointment to Mr. Srinivasan for discussing any matter related to BCCI, because Mr Srinivasan, some officials and owners' roles are under probe," Verma wrote in a letter to Jaitley.

In a setback to Srinivasan, the Supreme Court last week barred him from contesting any BCCI election on grounds of conflict of interest and set up a judges committee under a former Chief Justice of India to decide on the punishment in the IPL scam that threatens the future of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Verma further wrote, "I want to draw your kind attention on the Hon'ble Supreme Court's orders on 22.01.2015 on the PIL cases filed by Cricket Association Of Bihar relating to the controversial amendment to Rule 6.2.4 of the Regulations for Players, team officials, managers, umpires and administrators to ensure that Mr N Srinivasan does not suffer from disqualification under the un-amended Regulation 6.2.4."
