JEE aspirants must fix Qualifying Board details

The last date for correction in the application forms is January 31

Students in Telangana were forced to enter AP BIE as their board of qualifying exam (Class XII).

Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has asked students in Telangana, who are appearing for the JEE Main this year, to correct their Qualifying Board particulars in the JEE Main application form.

Students have been asked by the Telangana BIE to change their Qualifying Board online by selecting the option “Others” from the list of Grade 12 Boards and manually write “Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education.” The last date for correction in the application forms is January 31.

Applications for the JEE Main 2015 were closed by the time the TS BIE was formed by the Telangana State government, on December 18.

Students in Telangana were forced to enter AP BIE as their board of qualifying exam (Class XII). But the CBSE has allowed for a correction in the application forms till January 12 and to avoid being clubbed with AP students, TS BIE has asked its students to make the changes.
