Former SC judge provoked outrage, is being bashed on social media for sexist tweets
New Delhi: Former Press Council chairman Markandey Katju on Friday tweeted that the BJP should have made Shazia Ilmi its Chief Ministerial candidate as she is "more beautiful" than Kiran Bedi.
I regard Shazia Ilmi much more beautiful than Kiran Bedi. If Shazia had been made their C.M. candidate BJP wud have definitely won the Delhi

However, as fuming responses came in, Justice Katju backtracked, saying, “Develop a sense of humour.”
