Telangana, Andhra Pradesh staff clash over sharing of premises

Hyderabad: Tension prevailed at the APNGO office in Gunfoundry on Thursday as employees of AP and Telangana clashed over sharing of the premises.

Trouble began when TS employees stormed into the building demanding their share of the building. APNGO employees resisted, arguing that only AP employees had rights  over the building and that there was no question of sharing the premises with TS employees.

TS employees opposed this move saying that the building was located in Hyderabad, which was part of the Telangana State and that they had every right to seek a share in this building.  The situation soon turned violent as some employees resorted to violence. The police was called to control the situation.
