Kerala grants 5 acre for Telangana State Sabarimala devotees

Hyderabad: Kerala Government granted five acre land has been granted for Telangana State at Sabarimala for providing shelters for Ayyappa pilgrims from the state.

Kerala Chief Minister Oomen Chandy said in a video message to the Confederation of Telugu Region Malayalee Association (CTRMA)

Earlier, Telangana State Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had requested Oomen Chandy for the land at Trichur. Later, the the Kerala government decided to grant the land. The space will be used to house the Ayyappa pilgrims from Telangana  during the Sabarimala season.

Officials from CTRMA said they received the message from Kerala CM as he could not come a function in Hyderabad that he was supposed to attend.
