Hyderabad: Party leaders seeking nominated posts in politics would have to be patient, said Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samiti president, K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday. Mr Rao was giving a pep talk to partymen and women who had missed nominated posts at the party’s extended general body meeting at RD Convention Hall in Kompally saying that good days were ahead. An intelligent leader will wait in politics. If you take a hasty step, you future will be doomed. I have asked you to take government welfare programmes to the people. You will say, ‘its okay, but what about posts?’ Certainly you will get posts,” he said.

Mr Rao enticed them with a long list of nominated posts, including 34 additional new Assembly constituencies after delimitation, large number of MLC seats, temple trust boards, Zilla Grandhalaya Samastha chairman and member posts.“People have entrusted us to make Bangaru Telangana. My appeal to you is let’s work together,” he said

“In politics there are certain constraints, caste adjustments etc. We may not be able to give chances to all. But a little patience will pay off. Some may get posts immediately while others will have to wait. But don’t get disheartened,” Mr Rao said. MLA and cultural affairs chairman Rasamayi Balakrishan and his troupe entertained party men and women with Telangana songs
