Chandrababu Naidu can leave Telangana if he is finding it a ‘foreign land’: Kavitha
Naidu had said that ruling AP from Hyderabad was like ruling from a foreign country
Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samiti has asked Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to leave the state if he is finding it a ‘foreign land’. Taking exception to certain comments made by Mr Naidu, TRS MP K. Kavita demanded an apology from Mr Naidu. “There is no need for Andhra parties in Telangana. If Mr Naidu feels he is running AP from a foreign country, he better leave the state immediately. Telangana people will not tolerate such comments,” she remarked.
Mr Naidu told a meeting of AP that ruling AP from Hyderabad was like ruling from a foreign country. Launching a membership drive of the party’s women’s wing, Ms Kavita said everyone knows the conspiracies hatched by the AP CM against bifurcation of the state and subsequently against Telangana state. She also said that Telangana government has initiated several steps for protection of women including formation of She teams against eve teasers and those harassing women.
“Mr Naidu is unable to digest the success of the Telangana government in various areas. I think he better leave the state for Andhra since his heart is there. When he compares Hyderabad to a foreign country, how can he say he will win next elections? We have been saying joint capital will be accessible to AP people,” she remarked. Ms Kavita, TRS Mahila wing chief Tula Uma, Satyavathi Rathod and others asked women to enrol themselves as TRS party members on a large scale to strengthen the party and extend support to government policies and programmes.
