Here is how you can get free Internet on your smartphone

In an effort to boost mobile Internet access in India and lower Internet barriers, Opera software has partnered with e-commerce player FreeCharge to offer free mobile data with the FreeCharge Sponsored Web Pass. With this offer, Vodafone and Idea subscribers can access free Internet through the Opera Mini web browser.

Here’s how you can get free Internet access: 

• Simply open the Opera Mini browser
• Go to the Speed Dial start screen
• Click Vodafone Internet Pass / Idea Web Pass
• Select Get Free Browsing by FreeCharge

 

 

And, it’s done! You can enjoy free Internet browsing for up to 5MB on Vodafone and 10MB on Idea network for an entire day! 

Note: The Vodafone/Idea Web Pass will not show up if you are on Wi-Fi. Therefore, you need to be on 3G/2G to access the feature.
