Chennai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India will conduct its annual general meeting here on March 2. The announcement came at the end of the working committee of the BCCI meet on Sunday.
Topping the AGM agenda will be the election of office-bearers, including the president, which will be overseen by a committee. Rajiv Shukla, the vice-president of the Board, insisted that the working committee “did not discuss the candidates for the post of president”, but it was learnt that Srinivasan indicated he will not be the next president.
The decision to hold the AGM on March 2 follows a directive from the Supreme Court.
