New Delhi: BJP’s Chief Ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi lost her constituency by 2508 votes after her party was decimated by her rival Arvind Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party.
“I am a defeated candidate, cannot interfere in someone else's work,” Kiran Bedi said, adding, “I am confident under Arvind's team, urban poor will get all they have been promised.”
Thanking the BJP for their support, Bedi said, "I want to begin by thanking BJP leadership which inspired me to join and take up CM candidature."
"Party didn't ask for any money from me, accepted me way I am,thankful for all respect and love I've received by party and leadership," she added.
“Let BJP introspect why it has lost. I have given my best so I have not lost,” Bedi said.

Extending her best wishes, Bedi said, “Wish Arvind Kejriwal makes Delhi the world class city of PM Modi's dream,” she said, adding, “Full marks to Arvind Kejriwal. I congratulate him and the whole team of AAP.”
